World Animal Net is a directory of animal protection societies, with more than three thousand affiliates in more than a hundred countries, with Consultative Status at the United Nations.

Listed animal protective societies may be found geographically, beginning with Africa, Asia, Europe, Latin America and Caribbean, North America, and Oceania, or searched by organizational name, country, city, zip code, or focus.

Organizations may be registered through the site. Also included is a schedule of upcoming events, reports of past events, and online event registration.

The organization offers an online Strategic Advocacy Course, free of charge to animal advocates throughout the world. Students may access course materials online, working at their own pace. WAN also provides support and advice to animal welfare organizations who apply the course, including management consultancy advice and certificate courses for organizations.
