  1. PhpMyDirectory, in my opinion, is the complete package. A very flexible script, highly customizable, excellent support, and best of all, its backed by a great community forum. I can’t say enough good things about them.

I have owned or had admin access to directories using Directory Press, eSyndicat, PHP Link Directory, WSN Links, and a few other now defunct directory scripts, but I have never tried PhpMyDirectory. I thought about buying it awhile back but opted for eSyndicat instead; as I recall, I couldn’t decide between the two so I went with the less expensive one. As it is, I have been playing around with it, unsure whether I’ll ever put anything together, but there isn’t anything to dislike about it. I’ve seen some good directories using PhpMyDirectory.
