With a focus on aviation, the aviation directory first appears in the Internet Archive on December 12, 1998. There is no charge for submitting a site listing to Aeroseek, but registration with the site is required in order to do so.

The upper-level categories of the the Aeroseek aviation directory include Air Carriers, Aircraft, Airports, Employment, Events, GA and Sport Aviation, Ground Support, Historic, and Military. Other upper-level categories are Model Aviation, Multimedia, Navigation, News and Media, Organizations, Personal Pages, Pilots, Professional Services, Publications, Regulations, Resources, Safety, Simulation, Training, and Weather.

Newly added links, the top one hundred links, top-rated links, and random links are highlighted on separate pages, linked to from the directory’s front page. Two aircraft flight tracking programs are available, and users may subscribe to a newsletter, and find other resources.

The aviation directory’s content may be found by browsing its categories and subcategories. An in-site search feature is also available, using Google custom search.
